Being healthy, especially for seniors can have challenges. Weight is often an issue. Next, is being able to embrace physical activity. Two difficulties that are hard to overcome.

A recent conversation with a bicycle rider got me thinking about it. It was obvious the rider was a senior, Even with his back to me.
He was stooped over, stiff legged, touching his toes.
I quietly waited until I had his attention. “How do you do that?” I asked, indicated the toe touching thing.
“Yoga”. It was a one word answer, and not the one I expected.

He went on to talk about the wonders of doing yoga and all it had done for him. He had been actively going to yoga classes for nearly eight years. I guessed his age to be eighty or perhaps a little more.
He told me that if I began now, it would be touching my toes in a couple of weeks.
